The London Edit: Fashion & Food

Just back from a week in London - we spent our days shopping, site-seeing, exploring new restaurants and beautiful neighborhoods, and, of course, at afternoon tea. Here’s a breakdown of what I wore in London and some of the amazing food we had there.

Our first night, I wore this Aritzia high neck top with black trousers and a black denim coat. Accessorized with black kitten heels and a Burberry bag my parents gave me my first time in London :)

We ate at Trishna in Marylebone and it was incredible. From the coconut sour and Negroni cocktails to the broccoli and cauliflower appetizers to the chicken biryani, garlic naan and their famous Dorset brown crab dish, everything was amazing.

For visiting Westminster Abbey and Tower of London, checking out Borough Market’s chocolate covered strawberries and grabbing fish & chips, I wore Paige straight leg jeans, a white SKIMS t-shirt and a cropped Zara trench coat. Paired with white Cole Haan sneakers, Eleventh Hour sunglasses and a black Polène bag. A comfortable and stylish outfit for lots of walking.

We also stopped by Fortitude Bakery for a delicious cinnamon roll along with a garlic cream cheese croissant. Both were so good, we always love a savory pastry.

We always have to make a trip to afternoon tea when in London. This time, it was Claridge’s Foyer & Reading Room tea experience. It was perfect - the hotel’s floral arrangements were gorgeous and the Rosé champagne, sandwiches, scones and desserts were all delicious.

I styled this lace-detailed gingham dress with a Free People sweater, Cole Haan white sneakers, Eleventh Hour sunglasses and my black Polène bag. Also wore with my silver Tiffany watch, diamond studs and a simple diamond necklace.

As we were gone for about a week, I made sure I had a few pieces that were easily reworn. These low-waisted dark jeans and this Intimissimi boat neck cashmere shirt made for an easy & cute dinner outfit on two occasions. Paired with two-tone knot statement earrings, a simple diamond necklace, black kitten heels and a Burberry bag.

Islington's Trullo was the perfect, cozy Italian spot with espresso martinis, ravioli and a light fish dish - exactly what we needed after a huge afternoon tea. On our last night, we headed to one of our favorites, The Pie Room, for some comfort food.

For a wedding welcome cocktail hour, I styled this yellow & blue floral strapless dress, borrowed from my little sister, with simple blue heels, my same silver watch and a Sézane makeup bag I use as a clutch.
